My Identity--Rethought...

Now that your practicum is nearing its end, I want you to rethink your teacher identity. How has it changed? What is different? What is similar? Please be as blatantly honest as you want here!

The Reflective Teacher #2

Now that we are half-way into your student teaching practicum, I want you to reflect one last time on your experiences as a student-turned-teacher. The expectations will be the same as before--you write a post one week and comment on each other's the next week.

The Reflective Teacher #1

Use this space to mention classroom strengths/weakness; successes/failures; expected behaviors/shocking behaviors; etc. Reflect on your experience and explain how that reflection helped or hurt your instruction. Also, if you have noticed a repetitive "something"existent in your teaching behavior...i.e. saying "like" excessively; wild hand movements...mention it here. What you are doing to fix these behavior "ticks" and/or how do the students react to them(did they notice it or did you?)?

My Current Identity

I would like to use this space to define who we are, in the grand scheme of things. How is it that you define yourself? How do you define your character as both a human and a teacher? We will revisit this "identity" at the end of your student teaching experience...The due date will be Friday, February 15th by midnight.
